Facilities Library This is a specially designed room with a large range of books for all ages. The room provides a quiet relaxed area allowing your child to explore, enjoy and learn about word and text using a variety of books. Additionally a computer workstation is available offering a wide range of preschool software. Soft Play Room This room provides an opportunity for the children to play safely whilst providing fun, stimulation and learning potential. The room helps the children to learn hand/eye co-ordination skills, shapes and colour recognition. Outside Play Area We also have outside facilities giving your child the opportunity to let off steam. Our outside play area is securely fenced off to ensure safe play. Activities outside include bikes, skipping, hoola hoops etc. The older children will also have the benefit of their own garden plots. Dining Room This is a room specifically designed for your child's meal times. Meals are a sociable occasion and children are encouraged to talk and interact with others at their table. Starfish nursery encourages children to learn from an early age the social aspects of sharing a table. They can enjoy handing round drinks, helping to lay the table etc. We also pride ourselves on offering a healthy and varied selection of meals and snacks. Any special diets, including weaning, are catered for.
